*Scavenger Hunts - How to Add Scavenger Hunts to the App
After a Scavenger Hunt has been created, it must be "attached" somewhere to be visable by the app Users.
No Users can see the Scavenger Hunt created in the "Manage Hunts" section until it is associated to a button, activity or category.
HOW TO DISPLAY TO THE HOMESCREEN:
Click "Add Item" from the Homescreen or Submenu
Choose: Scavenger Hunt
Title: Create Name of the Category
Scavenger Hunt Drop down appears - Choose from Scavenger Hunts that are in the"Manage Hunts" section
Icon: Search or scroll for an icon
*Option to customize the Icon Colors or Icon Type once an Icon is selected
Restricted: Check this box if you would like this section hidden from specific users
Click Submit
HOW TO DISPLAY MULTIPLE HUNTS UNDER ONE CATEGORY (SUBMENU):
STEP 1:
Click "Add Item" from the Homescreen or Submenu
Choose: Submenu
Title: Create Name of the Category
Icon: Search or scroll for an icon
Restricted: Check this box if you would like this section hidden from specific users
Click Submit
Optional Feature: Click "Header" on the Right hand side
Upload multiple images or video to appear above the submenu of scavenger hunts
STEP 2:
Click on the new Submenu Section
Click "Add Item" to Submenu
Choose: Scavenger Hunt
Title: Create Name of the Category
Scavenger Hunt Drop down appears - Choose from Scavenger Hunts that are in the"Manage Hunts" section
Icon: Search or scroll for an icon
*Option to customize the Icon Colors or Icon Type once an Icon is selected
Restricted: Check this box if you would like this section hidden from specific users
Click Submit
ACTIVITY / EVENT ADDITION
Click "Create Event"
Follow the prompts to add an Event
Title, Description, Dates, Location, Image
Click "Additional Custom Buttons"
Click "Include Scavenger Hunt"
Scavenger Hunt Drop down appears - Choose from Scavenger Hunts that are in the"Manage Hunts" section
Click Submit
The "Start Hunt' Button will appear in the Admin Console, but will NOT appear on the phone until the start time and date of the event.
CUSTOM BUTTON ON A DETAIL PAGE:
Click "Add Item" from the Homescreen or Submenu
Choose: Detail Page
Title: Create Name of the Page
Icon: Search or scroll for an icon
*Option to customize the Icon Colors or Icon Type once an Icon is selected
Restricted: Check this box if you would like this section hidden from specific users
Click Submit
Click into New Single Detail Page
Enter: Title/Location, Description, Header, Hours
Click the "Buttons" bar
Scroll to "Additional Custom Buttons"
Enter Title
Action: Open Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger Hunt Drop down appears - Choose from Scavenger Hunts that are in the"Manage Hunts" section
Choose Icon
Click Add Button
*Option to customize the Icon Colors or Icon Type once an Icon is selected
Click Submit
