How to Send Push Notifications (From the App)
How to send Push Notifications (In the App / Staff Menu)
1) Within the app, click on the upper left hand menu
2) Click Log In
Note: Use the same email to log into the app as you use for the Admin Console in order to Access the Staff menu
3) Click Staff View
4) Once on the "Staff View" in the App, Click "Send Notifications"
Note: To ensure this section is on your Staff View, in the Admin Console, follow these steps:
- Click "Open Staff View"
- Click "Add Item"
- Click "Templates"
- Choose "Send Notifications"
- Rename (optional)
- Icon: Choose icon
- Click Submit
4) Follow the prompts to send a push notification via the app.
Note: Only "Send Now" is available for distribution. If you would like to schedule a push notification or set up a recurring push notification, that will have to be done within the Admin Console.
5) The appropriate User Group, User Type and Location can be selected based on the options that have been previously created in the Admin Console.
6) Click "Send Notification" to send the message to the appropriate user group.
