Objective

This SOP outlines the steps to set up a text messaging button within the app, allowing users to easily send text messages directly from their app.

Key Steps

Step 1: Access the Detail Page 0:00

• Navigate to any detail page in the app. 

• Locate the Buttons section on the page.

• Click on 'Add Button'

• Label the button (e.g., 'Text Us').

Step 3: Set Button Action 0:16

• Choose the action 'Send Text Message'.

• Enter the appropriate phone number for the text message.

Step 4: Customize Button Appearance 0:36

• Select an icon from the suggestions provided.

Step 5: Save the Button 0:48

• Click 'Add Button' to finalize the addition.

• Then click 'Submit' to save the changes.

Step 6: Add Text Messaging to Header Buttons 1:01

• Navigate to the header section of the app.

• Click on 'Actions' and select 'Send Text Message'.

• Enter the phone number and set the caption (e.g., 'Text Us').

• Click 'Submit' to save.

Step 7: Add Text Messaging to Events 1:33

• Go to the events section and select the event you want to edit.

• Click 'Add Button' and choose 'Send Text Message'.

• Enter Phone number and choose Icon

• Ensure the phone number entered is correct to avoid sending messages to the wrong recipient.

• Test the button functionality after setup to confirm it works as intended.
